Preventative maintenance
As well as more major works involved in the rehanging of bells we also undertake repair and servicing. There are many churches who have no local person with the skills necessary to maintain their bells and we can offer a highly professional service to fill this gap. Such preventative maintenance can save very considerable costs in the longer term and can often greatly increase the life of an installation. As a result of a service visit we render a written report detailing any problems found and the action taken, together with more serious problems which will require further attention, all fully detailed and accurately costed.

Painting and wood treatment
Any galvanized parts are always etch-primed and then given two coats of top-quality enamel. All other ironwork and steelwork is primed as appropriate with a heavy zinc-rich primer and then painted with two coats of top-quality enamel. All timber parts of the ringing fittings are treated with a heavy application of exterior wood preservative.
